Green-House’s New 17” Wacom Tablet
I recall a certain time when Wacom’s Tablet was amazingly popular, not even among professional. But for a strange reason, or because I don’t carefully check the Wacom Tablet World, it seems to me this once popular item tends to be less attractive nowdays for many. This may just be me and if I’m wrong just ignore me completely…
So here’s the new GH-PTB17-E from Green-House Japan, a 17” Wacom Tablet, with an SXGA resolution (1280 x 1024) with an 800:1 contrast ratio and a 300 cd/m3 brightness. It’s obviously compatible with PC and Mac and will be released in Japan this month.

I used to work for Wacom! They are no longer popular? They need to come up with a few attention grabbers…easier said than done of course
I use Wacom product on my Tablet PC love it, but nothing new
Um… thats not a Wacom tablet. Wacom is a company and a brand. This is just some graphics tablet… (which probably sucks compared to Wacom’s quality.)
Sorry, using Wacom technology
The specs on the page say that it comes with AAA batteries….for the pen, which means it is not Wacom technology (which uses patented induction to avoid the weight of a battery in the pen). Probably one of several Taiwanese manufacturers…they don’t work nearly as well as a Wacom.
