Qnap introduces a new 4-Drive High performance Rack Mounted NAS.

First of all I’m not sponsored in ANY way by QNAP, but I can tell you they are (as far as I’m concerned) the brand to look for if you’re serious about having a great NAS system (SOHO or not). Today they released the TS-439U-RP, a four drive rack mounted NAS (for servers obviously).

Powered by an Intel Atom 1.6GHz, with 1GB of RAM and an Dual 150W Power Supply, the TS-439U-RP features almost EVERYTHING you can think of, and don’t get me wrong, it can ALMOST make coffee! Seriously, whatever you dreamed of doing with a NAS, this one can do it! (virtual disc drive, iSCSI, encryption, RAID, online RAID expansion, online RAID migration, UPS support, hot sawppable, SNMP, failover, load balancing, WOL, RSS support, printer server, SMS support, dual Gigabit Ethernet, PHP and MySQL, QPKG support and MUCH MORE!)
