ASM5800 & ASM3202: New Desktop PC from Acer

Acer announced the availability of their new M-Series desktop PC. For this new line-up you’ll have a choice between two CPUs, an Intel Core 2 Quad (ASM5800), or an AMD Phenom II X4 (ASM3202).

- The ASM5800 features a Core 2 Quad Q9550 CPU (2.83GHz), from 4GB to 8GB of DDR3, from 750GB to 1TB of SATA HDD (7200rpm), an ATI Radeon HD 4650 (1GB of VRAM) GPU or an Nvidia GeForce GT 230 (1.5GB of VRAM), a Blu-ray disc drive, as well as HDMI output, Gigabit ethernet, 10 USB 2.0 ports… as for the price you can expect something like 139,800 Yen (1045€).

- The ASM3202 features an AMD Phenom II x4 925 (2.80Ghz) CPU, from 2 to 8GB of DDR2 RAM, from 640 to 750GB of SATA HDD (7200rpm), an ATI Radeon HD 3200, a DVD SuperMulti drive…
Price: 69,800 Yen, or €525.
