Panasonic’s EVOLTA Robot EVOIA Set to Run its first “24H du Mans”

EVOIA, a cute little robot powered by Panasonic EVOLTA batteries, is once again on the run for a world record… After climbing the Grand Canyon, the EVOIA is set to run at Le Mans to match the equivalent of the 24hr race car. This time on a cute little tricycle and the usual V8, V10 or V12 has been replaced by 2 AA Evolta batteries…

The race is set for next week in France and we’ll get you some nice video of the event soon… Meanwhile EVOIA buddy, make sure your batteries are fully charged and your tricycle oiled…

    After the Grand Canyon Mission last year, this will be also an interesting event.
    But I thought its name is Evolta, not Evoila…

    I think the right name is Evolta for the batteries, and Evoia for the robot
