My Doraemon Robot Hands-on
This morning we visited the Tokyo Toys Show, quite pathetic due to the economic meltdown. However we got some quality time with Bandai’s latest robot, My Doraemon.
My Doraemon can’t walk, but it does interact with you in so many different levels. It has ten different eye expressions, a 1300 word vocabulary, and features sensors letting it know if you’re behind it so it can turn its head to salute you. If you talk to it, it should be capable to talk back to you. It also features light and heat sensors… If you are turn off a light, it will tell you good night, if the room is too hot it will say, “Wow it’s hot in here”….
An impressive robot that only needs the ability to walk and move around autonomously.
