Marantz Japan Adds a New Blu-ray player to Their Line-up, the BD7004

With a launch scheduled for August and a retail price around 99,750 Yen (€760), here’s the latest 7.1 Blu-ray player with Dvix HD support from Marantz. The successor to the BD5004 it comes with BD Profile 2.0, and supports Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD and MP3, WMA, DivX HD, AVC-HD, and Jpeg files.

The BD7004 is also equipped with an Anchor Bay video processor for improved upscaling in 1080p, and features Pure Direct audio mode, an HDMI out that supports 36Bit Deep Color, xvColor, 1080/24p, etc…

Marantz designed this new player by introducing their M-1 designed front panel and other goodies to avoid as much vibration as possible and to make sure you get the best out of your player.
