Samsung Releases Their First Infrared Night Vision Mobile Phone in Korea

Apparently there’s a need in Korea for people to have video conferences in dark places, like say a karaoke joint. This is why today Samsung releasd the SCH-W760 with its infrared night vision camera… Not sure if anyone will use this function for video conferences, but well… Who knows?

The phone features some pretty basic specs with a regular 3Mpix camera module, a 2.8” WQVGA AMOLED screen, 8GB of internal memory, DMB (TV)…

    Looks like a cheap phone suitable for a double use, I see the taliban buying loads of them… not a real substitute for night vision goggles but better than nothin…
