Epson’s PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL Projector

At InfoComm Epson debut their brightest projector, the ProwerLite Pro Z8000WUNL. A 6000 lumens 3LCD projector with a 5000:1 contrast ratio and WUXGA resolution (1920×1200).

Making a powerful impact at InfoComm, the world’s largest pro-AV event, Epson today unveiled a series of innovative projectors, including its new flagship multimedia projector, the PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL. As the world’s best-selling projector brand for the last eight years, Epson continues to push new technology and performance frontiers with its expanded range of professional projectors for education and business settings.

“Globally, Epson projectors are now chosen by approximately three times more people than those of its nearest competitors, and the latest research by Futuresource gave Epson 22.4 percent of the worldwide market share,” explained Mr. Koichi Kubota, Chief Executive, Visual Instruments Operations Division, Seiko Epson Corporation. “I think there are a variety of reasons for our ongoing success: our comprehensive product line-up, a true ‘earth conscious’ policy across the board, production reliability achieved through producing 3LCD chips and projectors for 20 years in our own factories, highly advanced technologies, an extremely solid sales and support network in all regions, and above all, a true spirit of market development.”

At this year’s event, to be held in Orlando, Florida, June 17-19, Epson (booth no. 4127) will be demonstrating a number of new models designed for educational institutions and businesses, with the headliner being the PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL (EMEA area: EB-Z800WU).

As the industry’s first high-definition, high-bright WUXGA projector (1920 x 1200 native resolution) to use industry-leading Epson 3LCD technology, the PowerLite Pro Z8000WUNL is an incredibly powerful projector at an affordable price for large venue applications in education, corporations and houses of worship. As Epson’s brightest projector to date, it delivers 6,000 lumens color light output and 6,000 lumens white light output (ISO 21118 ), and offers 5000:1 contrast ratio, an innovative liquid cooling system, durable optical panels, and a dual-lamp design that further enhances its outstanding image quality, performance and reliability. It’s also equipped with several unique features and benefits that simplify and streamline maintenance. For installers, six optional lenses (including rear-projection) are available to choose from to help overcome challenging mid-to-large venue installations.
