QNAP NMP1000 Multimedia Player Reaches Japan
QNAP announced their latest network media player, the NMP1000, is finally available in Japan.
This HD capable set-top-box streams and play all HD or SD contents to any TV thanks to its HDMI 1.3 port. It’s powered by a Sigma Design SMP8635, has 256MB of RAM, room for a 3.5” SATA HDD, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, eSATA and can also be used as an NAS.
The NMP1000 will be sold for around 45,000 Yen in Japan (€337).
As the use of digital contents is becoming increasingly popular, more and more consumers are looking for solutions to store and enjoy the digital entertainment. Now here comes an easier way to share and enjoy your family videos, vacation photos and favorite music on your home entertainment systems. QNAP NMP-1000 network multimedia player is the new generation home networked appliance for playing the
videos, photos, and music on the internal hard disk. It also supports network playback of the digital contents from the PCs or NAS on your home network. The player can be seamlessly integrated with TV and stereo system for playing your digital collections in the living room or anywhere at home.
Featured with HDMI 1.3 output, SATA HDD interface, Gigabit network interface, and excellent network sharing features, the NMP-1000 supports various file formats including the high-quality H.264 MKV, M2TS, and FLAC. It is small and lightweight, yet powerful to deliver smooth playback of Full HD video and high-definition audio and bring the excitement of home theater.
