Progress UXG i7920N Faith Japan’s First Core i7 Extreme Edition with 3 SSD Notebook

Actually, let’s call it a desktop replacement (W397 x D298 x 60mm) of the Progress UXG i7920N/DVR from Faith Japan. A huge 17.1” Notebook with a WUXGA resolution (1920×1200) powered by a Core i7 975 Extreme Edition (3.33GHz), with a GeForce GTX 280M with 1GB of VRAM, 6GB of RAM (PC8500 DDR3), three 160GB SSD Intel X25-M, and DVD RAM for only 557,950 Yen (€4040).

Granted it’s heavy (5.4kg) and ugly, but you can’t argue the fact it may be one of the most powerful Notebooks available.

If three 160GB SSDs are a bit too much for you, you can get some HDDs instead, or one SSD if necessary. At this price it’s a pity they don’t even offer a Blu-ray burner!
