Compulab Fit-PC2 Now in Japan

The fit-PC2 from the Israeli company Compulab is an amazingly compact Atom powered micro desktop. In only 101x115x27mm Compulab fitted an Atom Z530 at 1.6GHz, on an Intel US15W chipset, 1GB of RAM, 160GB of HDD, DVI Out (1920×1080), HD Audio, Gigabit Ethernet, Wifi G, 6 USB 2.0 port, Mini SD and mini PCI Express socket.

While we don’t have a price in Japan for this baby killer, the Compulab Israeli based website announded a $254US starting price.

Be aware that this PC does NOT have sound via HDMI ! So not useable as entertaiment center which is a missed opportunity. Furthermore the support from Compulab is sketchy to say the least, former product issues (a.o. hissing sound output on FIT-PC Slim) are stated by them not solveable……..
