Interop 09: Panasonic’s KX-VC500 Full HD Video Conference System Hands-on
Last week Panasonic introduced their latest Full HD Video Conferencing System, the KX-VC500. It uses any HD video camera or camcorder and to stream 1080i video at 8Mbps between 2 parties.
This morning I had the pleasure of playing with it (as you can see below) and I must say that I’m pretty impressed with it. Granted you need two of these babies to get the best results, but the overall quality with a regular Panasonic AVCHD camcorde was prefect in Full HD and using this baby is a simple as using Skype…
If only this kind of thing would become more mainstream, it would really rock!
