Thanko’s New Tiny Micro LED Pico Projector, Now on Sale, Hands-on

Here’s Thanko’s latest Pico Projector, the MINIJEC1… In just the palm of you hand, 61x37x60mm and just 142g, you can project video from a PC, and even an iPod video or iPhone.

It’s resolution is quite standard, 640×480, with 10 lumens brightness and a 200:1 contrast ratio. As for results, expect a 45” screen size at only 2m away from the projector and 14” at only 60cm away.

    It’s still a little pricey for me. 29,800yen (around $300US) for a projector like that and I don’t have anything portable that I would connect it to. Maybe if I had the newest PSP it would be a novelty to have, but that’s about it.
