I-O Data New AVeL Link Player AV-LS500LE

It’s been a while since I-O Data released a new AVeL Link Player, and for those wondering that the hell I’m talking about, AVeL Link Players are basically DivX boxes for streaming videos, audio, and pictures stored on a network to a TV.

And here’s the AV-LS500LE, a nice little HD Update that streams and plays full HD (1920×1080) WMV9, MPEG-1, MPEG-2 PS/TS, MPEG-4 ASP and H.264 (AVCHD) at different fps, from 24 to 30fps and BR (from 5 to 25Mbps and depending of the video format you are using). Motion-Jpeg and XviD files are also supported but only a 640×480.

Other media like Photo and MP3, WMA are of course supported and can be streamed.

These AVeL Link Players are pretty good if you WMV9 and H.264 are the only formats you care for, but could be a real pain if you’re a hardcore geek.
