Waterproof Xacti Dual Camera DMX-WH1E Now Available in Japan

Today is the official launch of the waterproof Xacti DMX-WH1E… for the dual camera’s 5th anniversary. I’m sure you’re all familiar by now with the Xacti HD2000 and its brother the FH11 (when it comes to shape and design). While the WH1E doesn’t record video in Full HD, it offers over H.264 720/30p video even underwater (9Mbps).

Specwise the WH1E features a 11Mpix censor, 43MB of internal memory, supports SDHC cards up to 32Mb, ISO range goes from 50 to 1600, a 30x optical zoom, and a 2.5” monitor.

This little baby is waterproof meaning that you can go underwater up to 3max (depth) and shoot HD video. Also, Sanyo in Partnership with Eye-Fi, announced it can upload data via WiFi…

Nice.
