My PC is hasee, but similar to this machine
I dont see the point of 8GB of RAM in a notebook at the moment, even if you want to do video editing.
Not but Doing Video editing, plus watching TV (Dual Display) or Having PhotoShop, After Effect open as well could be very useful, once again you need to have 2 Display.
In a productive environment it makes a lot of sense. I typically run several tools at work, 2 visual studios, a proprietary editor/build tool, firefox (with lots of tabs open), distributed building programs (incredibuild, sndbs). Our custom build tool at some point was leaking memory and we would frequently get out of memory crashes.
Having more memory in general means less hard drive paging, which means a smoother experience under the harshest of conditions.
If only this system had an nvidia GP
It has an NVidia 9XXX something I believe
I wonder how good is the heat dissipation for this kind of laptop. The laptop is so thin, yet it is packed with so much power..I don’t see much space for ventilation within the chassis, and when you are doing intensive work..the fan would probably spin like crazy.
Japan somehow always has the best of every gadget available on earth.
