DoCoMo Summer 2009: SH-06A NERV, Your Evangelion Dream Phone

DoCoMo had a little surprise for us on top of the HTC-03A (Magic) and Toshiba T-01A, the SH-06A NERV from Sharp.

Featuring a nice 10Mpix CCD camera module with LED flashlight and a 3.3” WVGA LCD, it has a dedicated Evangelion GUI, with various ring tones and wallpapers matching the series and a gorgeous (if you’re fan of course) Nerv Style design painted on the body… Definitely a MUST have if you like the series.

DoCoMo also proposed a dedicated NERV package for the phones, as well as a Nerv Users Manual.

Cool ^^

Shit phone and even shitier anime.

Very interesting. BasuGasuBakuhatsu reported on an Evangelion iPhone App, but this is the first I’ve heard of an actual phone designed around the concept.

This is very cool. Having never gotten a phone before, this has me very intrigued. But, is it available outside of japan?

I kinda like the old-school 7-seg display…

Pffft, great idea get a crap phone and brand it to attract geeks!

Where can I buy one ?

what are you talking about crap, the phone has a 10mps camera, that alone should sell it. i don’t care what you say, i want the phone, where can you find it?

looks pretty sweet. wouldnt mind picking one up. any idea which networks it might be on if it comes to america?

I personally would love that phone, just for the sake of collection more then to use it. (Kind of goes against the purpose of its function.) ‘Round here its bout thousand four hundred bucks though… Would buy it if I seriously had money like that to throw around.
