Yashica’s Latest Crappy HD Cam, the DVC575

Here’s the latest crappy HD camera available in Japan, the DVG575 from Exemode (Yashica is an Exemode brand). It comes with a formidable 5Mpix CMOS, and 720/30p video recording capabilities, 128MB of internal memory, 3x Digital Zoom and awesome 2.5” LCD… For just… hold you breath… 14,800 Yen (€115)…

At least it looks decent, better than what we’re used to seeing.

heh it has better spec than my toshiba camileo hd, so it must be great ;]

2

come on digital zoom only ??? That is really crappy.

3

Well look at the price. It's not that expensive. And 720 is not too bad either.

4

The issue with these are their low light sensitivity, I would not feel comfortable using it on a cloudy day! Get a cheep digital camera with video. You'll have much better results.
