NTT DoCoMo to Releases Their First Android Phone in Japan
Behold the HT-03A, that according to this Japanese blog (memn0ck.com) is DoCoMo’s future Android powered phone. The HT-03A running Android 1.5 Cupcake (aka HTC Magic) (Eric Lin introduced us to it on video here).
We’ll have more to tell you soon, VERY SOON, with another huge surprise from DoCoMo in two weeks… Sorry, can’t say more, but Lord this new phone is HUGE and fast

wait, isn’t it pre release version of htc magic? Buttons in actual ‘european’ version have different shape. It’s the same version as Eric Lin presented few days ago on the interview.
@tinou81, I would guess the Pre, but OTOH, it hasn’t come out here in the US yet either… or maybe that’s a hint that it’s going to be a worldwide simultaneous release? Hmm…
Any news on how the input method works?
I have a G1 Android phone, been using it in Japan for months using a Softbank SIM but a DoCoMo MoperaU SIM will also work. It works great and has Japanese input as well.
