Man this SSD must be a rocket in my Computer. I like SSD they are the future.

    Price?

Price is probably 3000+. I’m judging that because of other 1 TB SSD’s are about 3000. Since this can hit 1000 MB close to 1 GB read and write speeds, it has to cost an arm and a leg.

Anyways, I’m glad they’re actually able to push the speeds faster. This SSD is like 4x times faster than most of the best SSD’s currently out there. Most have a maximum of like 250 mb/s this blows them away.

If photofast keeps going at this rate, SSD’s at these capacities will be consumer affordable in a few years.

    According to engadget.com

Our friends at Engadget Japan have chimed in to tell us they’re on sale in the Akihabara district to the tune of USD $1,600 for 128GB, $2,000 for 512GB, and a whopping $4,500 for the 1TB model.

    chaching $$!!!
my next 2 hdd purchase would be
    12000 yen for a 1.5tb 7200rpm hdd
and 12000 yen for a 64gb ssd with 150write/90read. and will use the the ssd for OS the other for data.
that would be a lot faster than my regular hdd with 50write/50read.

although this is great later when the prices fall, i would love to have these as my main OS drive. but for now raided sata ssd will do just fine.
