30 Seconds Worth of Akihabara

Today is a Japanese public holiday so don’t expect lot of news out us, however we have some nice stuff for you, lets start with this little video.

Here’s 5 minutes worth of video compressed to only 30 seconds of Akihabara’s main street Chuo-Dori. It was taken earlier this week from one of my best spots… Enjoy!

I appreciate the recent videos very much. Thank you. I am wondering what video camera you have been using to record these clips. Thanks for the info.

For the “Let’s Visit Tokyo” series we are using an hold SD3 ACVHD Camera from Panasonic, we are great fan of Panasonic product when it comes to video and we also shoot with a P2 Broadcast Camera for NihonCar.com and ManualGear.com. For the video above we used a crappy Flip HD camera… Giving good result in a 600×360 large video but horrible once in 1280x720p

On working days in the morning it is nice if you have to buy or check something. Not so damn crowded.

Akihabara is a fun place but I’ve found prices you see for new items are pretty much the same through out the place. Some of the Sofmaps sell used stuff for a pretty good discount though.
