Three New Panasonic Strada in Dash GPS with Optional Blu-ray Player

“Bringing home to your car,” this was Panasonic’s motto at this morning’s press conference, and this is exactly what these three new In-Dash GPSs, the CN-HX900D, CN-HW880D and CN-HW850D are meant to do!

Let’s concentrate our attention on the high-end model CN-HX900D. Sold in Japan for a little bit over 300,000 Yen (€2630), this Windows Automotive Powered GPS features, a 40GB HDD, a DVD Player, a 5.1ch audio system, Bluetooth, SRS CS Auto, SRS WOW HD, VICS, a 7” LCD, a Tuner FM AM, a 1Seg TV Tuner, Bluetooth, iPOD connector. It’s iPhone 3G compatible with a Video Player, Photo Player, and like the previous Strada PNS, two way compatable with Google Map.

If needed you can purchase an optional Blu-ray player to enjoy a good movie while speeding like a maniac on the high-way… FYI, in Japan, like many countries it’s forbidden and normally impossible to watch TV or movies while driving, but many, well almost everyone here, removes the necessary safety feature allowing you to enjoy a movie while driving.
