Pimp Ready DAP From Sony, Walkman E-Series

Behold Sony’s latest Walkman E-Series. Available in 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB, these USB sticks DAP are available in different colors and ship with both a second front panel and a matching CAP, besides the obvious DAP thingy. They also play MP3 files, and feature an FM radio tuner, a 3-Line color LCD, and up to 28hrs of continuous MP3 play time…

Check the video below for a better understanding (in Japanese) of these monsters.

I like these mp3 player a lot. Could you please offer that on geekstuff4u. I really would like to get one and unfortunately this will never see the light here in europe. We only get the pathetic b-series. This one is much better

Hi Chris! We will try to upload them as soon as possible! Actually, if we don’t resell as mush DAP, or PMP, it’s because all Instruction Manual, driver, or screen are exclusively written in Japanese…

But, for this E-Series, it could be possible! If you want, I can contact you when the product will be uploaded!

  • Chris

yeah sure. Please sent me an email as soon as you know something

  • Chris

thanks kei, just spotted them on geekstuff :D

Your welcome Chris! But, there’s a drawback.. This E-Series needs sony’s Soft, the SonicStage v5.0… And curently, it’s only available in Japanese version!

According to Sony’s PR, you’ll need this soft if you want to transfer music files on this MP3 Player…. I hate sony for this!!!

According to this site the E040 series marks a departure from the NW-E020 heritage though

    http://www.colortec.jp/contents/music/NW-E040.htm

It states that without any additional software most PCs should be able to work with the E040. This would bring it in line with the NWD-E020 direct USB series. Might want to confirm this.

Sorry checking that detail it only means SonicStage is included on the player m(_ _)m
They still prevent drag and drop

    My mistake
