Fujitsu’s New FMV-Biblo Series

Finally Fujitsu introduced their new BIBLO notebooks, their “flagship” models, or at least the models that are most popular within Japanese consumers.

For this series we’ll concentrate on the high-end models, in particular the FMV-Biblo NF/D85D equipped with a AMD Athlon X2 QL-64 (2.10GHz) CPU, a 15.4’’ WXGA LCD screen(1280×800) an AMD M780G chipset, 4GB of RAM, 500GB of HDD, a Blu-Ray drive, and the Wi-Fi b / g. Also an e-SATA port, four USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI output, and a digital TV tuner … 190,000 Yen, (€1469).

The NF/D75 comes with a CPU Core 2 Duo P8700 (2.53Ghz), a 15.6’’LCD screen 15 (1366 x 768 ), 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 500GB of HDD, a Blu-Ray disc drive, and almost the same specs as above.

In addition Fujitsu announced the availability of their Biblo Loox R. These 12.1’’ notebook has a Core 2 Duo SU9600 (1.60GHz) processor, a 12.1” LCD screen LED backlit (1280×800), 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 128Go of SSD (Version Loox R/D70) or 320GB HDD, a DVD SuperMulti drive, Wi-Fi a / b / g, Bluetooth …

The Biblo MG comes in two versions: one of 14.1” (MG/D75) LED backlit and another of 13.3’’ (MG/D70). Besides this small difference, you have almost the same characteristics, namely a Core 2 Duo P8700 (2.53GHz) CPU, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 320GB of HDD, a DVD Super Multi Drive, the Wi-Fi a / b / g, Bluetooth, 3 USB ports.

Price: 200,000 Yen for 14.1’’ version (€1550 ), and 170,000 Yen for 13.3’’ model (€1315).

Fujitsu’s Biblo NW Series, better known as the Lifebook N7010 was also upgraded. This time we have a Core 2 Duo P8700 CPU, a 16’’ LCD Screen with a resolution of 1366×768, an Intel GM45 Express Chipset, 4GB of RAM, the Wifi b/g/n, four USB ports, an HDMi output, a Blu-ray drive, and 500GB of HDD. 250,000 Yen (€1935).
