Fujitsu Upgrades Their FMV-Deskpower Series

We back from Fujitsu’s press conference and as usual we had a very warm welcome. During this conference in a small committee, we were entitled to upgrades of PCs rather than new machines.

First we have the Fujitsu F-Series with the FMV- Deskpower F/D90D, F/D70D and F/D60. As has been written in the introduction, they are mostly upgrades with the addition of a Blu-ray (only on the high end model), 1TB of HDD instead of 500GB available on the previous version, 4GB of RAM instead of 2GB, and MaxxAudio software allowing you to manage the equalizer.

In addition to these small updates, this All-In-One Desktop offer the same specs as its predecessors, namely a 19’’ LCD screen (WXGA + Resolution), Core 2 Duo P8700 (2.53GHz)CPU, MemoryStick / SD / SDHC slot, 1.3MPix webcam, 5 USB ports, Wi-Fi b / g / n and digital TV tuner …

For the two versions below, the D70D and D60, you won’t have a Blu-ray drive, but a simple DVD Super Multi, and only 500GB hard drive for the D60 version.

Prices:

- F/D90D: 220,000Yen or €1499
- F/D70D: 200,000Yen or €1350
- F/D60: 170,000Yen or €1159.

LX series with the LX/D90D.
For this model we also have some noteworthy improvements with a 23’’ Full HD LCD Screen instead of the previous 22” (1680×1050), but also the “HD Dixel Engine” LSI, and the Soft MaxxAudio. Besides these changes, we now have a Core 2 Duo E7500 (2.93GHz), an Intel G45 Express chipset, 4GB of RAM, 1TB of hard drive, a Blu-Ray Drive, but also 6 USB ports, the WiFi b / g / n, and the Gigabit Ethernet. 230, 000 Yen is €1779.

Regarding the Deskpower CE Series, for which we are entitled to a 22” screen, two models are proposed:

-The CE/D50, which is equipped with 500GB of hard drive, a GeForce 9500 GT (512MB of VRAM), a DVD SuperMulti drive, a Core 2 Quad Q8300 (2.50GHz) CPU, an Intel G41 Express Chipset and 4GB of RAM. 200,000 yen, or €1550
- The CE/D40, it is equipped with a CPU Core 2 Duo E7500 (2.93GHz). Otherwise you’ll get almost the same specs as the above.

To finish with the PC desktops, we had the All-In-One EK Series which offers a Core 2 Duo P8700 (2.53GHz) CPU, a 19’’ WXGA+ LCD screen, from 320GB to 500GB of HDD, 4GB of RAM, 4 USB ports, an Intel GM45 Express Chipset. 150,000 Yen or €1160.
