Dynabook UX: The Ultimate Overpriced Netbook From Toshiba?

Well sort of… It’s been a while since I’ve gotten excited about any Toshiba news. YEAH REALLY, I wonder why actually … Anyway, the UX is Toshiba’s latest Netbook wonder, a good PC in a nice and elegant body. This 10.1” with a 1024×600 resolution and LED backlight is powered by an ATOM N280 at 1.6GHz, has the usual Intel 945GSE Express, 160GB of HDD… And available in two colors…

Like it? Hold a second, there is catch… The expected price is just around 10,000 to 12,000 Yen more than the Acer Aspire, and will be sold in Japan for 60,000 (€476) or 70,000 Yen (€544).

Toshiba, we really love you… No, really, but at this price, do you REALLY believe anyone would consider buying your Netbook.

Either way, please make sure to check our hi-res gallery below.

overpriced Netbook. Yes it is !!

Meanwhile another brand sell atom powered netbook around 50,000 yen and Kohjinsha SC3 is only 45,000yen with touchscreen , GPS and 1-SEG TV function.

why buy this toshiba ??

Simply because Japanese do not want to buy Taiwanese (Acer-Asus) or Korean (Kohjinsha)

Kohjinsha is Korean brand ???

This is my understanding.

I always thought Kohjinsha was Japanese and unless they are doing a very good job to make it just look like they are Japanese, this suggests they are:
