Sony’s 3D and OLED at Display 2009

For two days Display 2009 will be held in Tokyo’s Bigsight, where professionals in the “Display” industry show off their latest goodies, like Sony where we enjoyed once more their stunning 21” OLED screen and their latest 46” full HD TV.

Nothing much out of the ordinary here, but I was quite impressed by the huge improvements made in the 3D area.

I wonder when 3D displays will become available for end-users at reasonable prices. I don’t even need a 3D TV screen for now, a PC monitor with about 19-22″ and passive glasses would be all I need.

That crappy 1366×768 OLED costs over $20k.

    BIG no thanks
