Two New BD Recorders with acTVila function in Japan

Behold the BDZ-A750 (320GB) and the BDZ-A950 (500GB), the latest Blu-ray burner player and HDD video recorder combos from Sony.
Featuring a heavy networking touch, these recorders stream and download videos from either Tsutaya TV and acTVila VOD service in Japan and forward these contents directly to a PSP or a Sony compatible DAP via USB.
On top of that they’re DLNA compatible allow access from anywhere on the network to recorded contents (PS3, PC, etc.).

Looks great but I am wondering if it is possible to get a multi-region blu-ray player in Japan? Secondly with such a player are you geographically limited when it comes to VOD

And so far I never heard about multi-region BD Player but this may come soon… Now for the VOD, If you subscribe in Japan and later move overseas, it MAY work but not sure
