Photofast to Launch a New 2.5-Inch SSD with 64Mb Cache Memory

This morning Photofast announced official launch of their latest G-Monster SSD V4 SLC Series scheduled for a mid- April release. This new line-up of solid state drives are available in two versions: 64GB or 32GB. They provide a reading speed of 270MB/s, and a writing speed of 170MB/s, with 64 MB of internal cache. Photofast announced a MTBF of 1.5 million hours for their 2.5-Inch SATA SSD.

Price:
- 32GB: 46,800 Yen (€365)
- 64GB: 84,800 Yen (€660)

The 128GB version is scheduled for release later this year.

Along with this series, Photofast also unveiled the G-Monster SSD IDE V2 Series featuring a 2.5-Inch IDE SSD. This line-up offers a reading speed of 100MB/s and a writing speed of 100MB/s. Available in 32GB / 64GB / 128 GB / 256GB versions, it also features 64MB of internal cache, and a MBTF of 2.5 million hours.

- 32GB: 22,800 Yen (€179)
- 64GB: 36,800 Yen (€265)
- 128GB: 52800 Yen (€289)
- 256GB: 89,800 Yen (€699)
