Sanyo Launches a New Business Electric Bike Alongside the First Electric Bike Solar Parking

It’s now official, Tokushima prefecture has Sanyo’s first solar parking lot for electric bikes where you can recharge a conventional power supply. Just park your bike, remove the battery, place it in the charging bay, and voila! It’s 100% independent of any conventional power source and can be built virtually anywhere.
Alongside this world’s first for Sanyo and its Eneloop Technology (rechargeable batteries), they now offer a business model to their latest Eneloop bike line. Based on the latest Eneloop bike, (more information here) the business model is made for use mainly within companies who borrow bikes for their staff (factories, universities, hospitals…). The Eneloop business bike is built stronger than the original for a longer lifespan.

Wow this is great product and great idea, with solar power so no need power plant that use fossil fuel or even nuclear energy. 100% Green energy. I hope this will spread across the world
You need a power plant to make the solar panels, and the bicycle. How about the pollution that will make those batteries when it is thrown away?
Bicycles use a minimum amount of energy, is worthless. They should apply those solar panels on trains, trains stations and malls where they use a huge amount of energy. But they know that fossil and plutonium is cheaper.
It’s so hard…
