ASUS’s Bamboo Covered U6V Notebook for Korean Geeks

Back in 2007 and 2008, Asus announced their intention to release a bamboo covered notebook, so far it’s only available in a few countries including Taiwan. Finally Asus Korea launched their very own bamboo notebook in a high-end device, the U6V… Besides the obvious bamboo thingy, the U6V is powered by a Core 2 Duo T9400, has 4GB of RAM, a GeForce 9300M GS with 256MB of DDR2 VRAM, 320GB of HDD, a DVD Super Multi or Blu-ray drive, a 12.1” WXGA LED Backlight LCD, Wifi ABGN, and HDMI Out.

If only it were available in Japan too, I’d seriously consider buying it.
