I-O Data Announces a New AVeL Link Player, the AV-LS500VX

The AVeL Link player series from I-O Data is the all in one video solution for the average Japanese geek. Like any other AVeL Link player it support the following video files, WMV9, MPEG-1, MPEG-2TS and PS, MPEG-4 and H.264… and WMA, MP3, and AAC audios files…

Fairly basic, however the power of an AVeL Link player is to access virtually any of these formats stored on almost anything connected to a network and stream contents on a TV (HDMI), this could be a DLNA HDD Rrecorder, NAS, PC or VOD services.

The AV-LS500VX series does just that, an improved VOD service supporting DMM.TV and acTVil.
