    Any news on specs?
    What’s the memory?
What type of e-books does it display?
    Battery life?
    Backlit?
    Resolution?

I think these are old “news” from mid January (2009-01-15): http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/news-17350-Get+a+2nd+BRAIN+from+Sharp!.html

I think you are mistaken, here the novelty of this stuff is the emphasis on the ebook reader and the possibility to get them now online. The previous model did not had an e-Book reader

FIne, but WHAT formats does this e-book reader support?
Does it support .prc or other multi platform formats? This would make the device interesting for me.

Not sure for that Niels, we will check and post a comment here

    Great, thank you
FYI, I couldn’t find it on Sharp’s homepage either.
They do install a number of e-books in advance, but those are all dictionaries or travel books bij National Geographic.

The internal memory of the device is 200mb.
