Epson Japan Gives Their Mini Endeavor a Second Life as a Home Server
The Epson ST120 Endeavor was a real challenger to the Mac Mini in Japan, with a size of only 75×185x195mm and running on a Core 2 Duo P8400 (2.26Ghz) with a Blu-Ray drive this nice little PC will begin a new life as a Windows Home Server under the SV120h name.
You’ll have a choice between two CPUs, with a Celeron 575 (2GHz) or a Core 2 Duo P8600 (2.4GHz) from 160GB to 2×500GB (1TB) of HDD. By default the VC120h will be powered by an Intel GM45 Express video chipset, have 1GB of RAM (up to 4GB) and an average DVD Super Multi.
The entry price of the SV120h will be around 65,000 Yen for the Celeron version (€520).
