Japanese Takotsubo “Octopus Trap” Speakers

Bird Electron released a new set of speakers build around Japanese takotsubo, “octopus trap”, used by fishermen to catch… Octopus.

These traps are installed with 50mm in diameter speakers that work on a bandwidth of 50Hz to 4kHz at 83dB. They may not provide the ultimate sound, and may be the coolest speakers you’ll ever own.
