OT: Retro Akiba News…

A couple of weeks ago as we were moving some stuff between offices I came across the VERY first video camera I used to shoot stuff for Akihabara News, a Panasonic SV-AV30… One of the first SD card based pocket video cameras….

It was released in Japan at the end of 2002, now six years later we’re using a P2 Panasonic. Compared with an entry level Xacti available now, the SV-AV30 look so ancient!

What about you? Do you still own an old video camera or DSLR? Want to show the world a piece of your history? Send us an email and we’ll post your pictures on Akihabara News and share some nice memories!
