Iriver P20 in Stock in Japan Within Two Weeks

If your name is Kei, work for Akihabara News, and have been lately badly screwed-up by Archos and their poor material quality and latest firmware, we may have good news for you. Yes, the P20, Iriver’s latest PMP has announced a launch date for Japan, the 27th of February, and a price tag of only 39,890 Yen (€343).

If you’re not familiar with the P20, here are the basics: it features a 4.1” OLED display with a 480×272 resolution, 80GB of HDD, compatible with MPEG-1/2/4, Xvid, WMV, MP3, OGG, WMA, FLAC… files and capable of viewing Microsoft Office documents (2003 Max), PDF, TXT, htm… It has a FM tuner with recording features, supports flash games, and weights only 300g at 79.7×130x20.5mm.

Kei, we told you, either buy an iPod touch or a Korean PMP… Not an Archos… Especially with their rip-off codec system.
