SynMaster LapFit, Two New LCDs for Your Laptop

Good Lord! And I thought I was cool with my 8” USB Additional LCD from Century… If 8” isn’t enough and you’d like to use your notebook, netbook or whatever portable PC you have as a primary working device, you’ll be VERY pleased to learn Samsung announced this Sunday a new type of LCD monitor, the LapFit Series.

Available in 19″ and 22” these additional LCD monitors are made to be used with a portable computers, and as you can see will in most cases be at the same level as your computer. Like the Century LCD, these screens need a USB port to be connected to a PC (but require additional power to be used) .

The LapFit LD190G and LapFit LD220G both have a contrast ratio of 20000:1, a 1360×768 resolution, a USB hub.

If only they would release cheap wuxga touchscreens i would definitely buy 1.
my budget is only 15000 to 38000 yen.
that touchscreen lcd would also throw away my dreams of buying an xbox 360.

These aren’t touchscreens; just USB external monitors, using what Samsung calls Ubisync (http://www.engadget.com/tag/UbiSync/)

Checked one out in a store here a couple of days ago, and it doesn’t look very impressive – screen can’t run 3D, and requires a minimum dual-core 2Ghz processor to run – which I’m betting means the USB driver is a resource hog.
