Fujitsu Now Jumping Fully Onto the Android Wagon with Their “Service Built for Android”

Yesterday Fujitsu Japan announced the launch of “Service Built for Android”. Fujitsu is now capable of providing their full expertise to companies developing and/or implementing Google OS Android on either phones, cars or any embedded solution one may think of. These services include Consulting, Training, Engineering, and Embedded Middleware.

What may change for us? Fujitsu proposed exactly what Microsoft (and others, including Fujitsu) did with Windows Mobile, more precisely Windows CE.
Android is an OS like Windows Mobile, and in the near future you will probably see Android point of sales, PMPs, GPS, car navigation systems, etc…

While with their iPhone so far Apple is the only threat to Microsoft, thei Google Android OS is definitely a greater threat to the Redmond solution since it’s clearmany companies like Fujitsu will come up with an alternative to the all mighty Windows CE, but most importantly… a FREE OS.
