Buffalo Japan Launches Their New 7” USB External Display

Small USB powered LCDs seem to be pretty hot lately… This is why Buffalo Japan jumped on the bandwagon with their FTD-W71 USB.
With an arguably low end design and horrible stand, the FTD-W71 features WVGA resolution (800×480), a contrast ratio of 500:1…

Obviously you’ll need to connect this little baby to your PC via USB to get a 2nd screen. Now…

I have to say I’m NOT impressed… Why? Let’s say this Friday, another Japanese manufacturer will release something WAY better, with a 8” Screen, 800×600 resolution USB powered and compatible PC/MAC…

Soon – this Friday
