OT : ARCHOS 10… The First French Netbook?
Yes, French people not only make wine, clothes, and “the Tongue,” they also produce some electronic goods like Sagem… (LOL) and Archos…
The latter (Archos) struggling in this ever changing world of DAPs and PMPs, is now entering into the extremely competitive world of the Netbooks…
The Archos 10 has some common Netbook features like an Intel Atom N270@ 1.6GHz, XP Home, 1GB of RAM, a 10.2” WXGA LED Backlight screen, 160GB of HDD, a 1.3Mpix web camera….
No offense to ARCHOS… but why on earth did they jump into a competitive market like Netbooks? Is this their final hope?

I think it’s logical : Archos started to sell some PMP with 3G and a browser with the French operator SFR.
France aslo got thomson, alcatel, thales,Gemplus…etc
Every country has its speciality…for france its quite not electronic goods!
But we can compete in beauty (L’Oréal), army&space (Thales, Dassault, Ariane Espace, Airbus), food (Danone), Energy (Total, AREVA..)………Please, don’t be so facetious…
It is 100% french? I think it’s made in China with the logo of Archos. My opinion, I don’t if it’s true.
