The Ultimate Camcorder: Sony’s HDR-XR520V – 240GB, GPS, Full HD

Sony fanboy or not, you have to admit the new HDR-XR520V camcorder is about the most loaded geeky camera released for a while.
Featuring a back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor with a high-speed BIONZ imaging processor, it shoots video in Full HD and records all your wonders in AVCHD and stores them in its 240GB HDD providing up to 101hrs of HD Video (in LP mode). In case that gets filled up, you still have a memory stick slot that supports Sony’s new 16GB PRO-HG Duo HX memory sticks.
If you’d like to keep track of where you are or find the location where you took a video, the HDR-XR520V’s GPS will show you!

I think this camcorder will work great with Apple’s new iPhoto and iMovie 09; which now support geo-tagging. Really nice, new toy.

It is worth while to purchase in which month please tell as and which month it is going to launch.
The camera has attractive features. But everything falls flat making the camera comeletely useless because there is no input for audio. How are you going to record a clear voice when you are interviewing someone, or if there are two people talking 20 feet away from the camera? Does that mean they have to shout into the cam for their voices to be recorded?
it DOES have audio in. so, no. no shouting.
