Four New Compact HD Camcorders from Panasonic
Panasonic just revealed four new compact camcorders, but this time Full HD and with a 3Mos censor (3.5Mpix for the video and 10.6 for photo) and a 12x optical zoom.
So what’s new here? Obviously these cameras will record video using the AVCHD codec (Mpeg-4 AVC/H.264), but are also available in different flavors for different prices:
HDC-HS300, 120GB HDD and SD Slot = 160,000 Yen (1262€)
HDC-HS200, 80GB HDD and SD Slot = 140,000 Yen (1105€)
HDC-TM300, 32GB of internal flash memory and SD Slot = 150,000 Yen (1185€)
HDC-SD200, no internal memory SD Slot = 130,000 Yen (1026€)
