Eee PC T91, the First Convertible Tablet Netbook

This morning the folks over Engadget and Gizmodo came up with some interesting news regarding the latest Eee PC, the T91, the very first convertible tablet Netbook. 
 Only 1” thick (for the rest of the world this means roughly 2.54cm), 2lbs (less than 1kg), a 8.9” touch panel with LED Backlight, an Intel Atom Z520 CPU, XP Home (No TPC Edition?) TV tuner, and GPS…

    NOT true, Gigabyte came out with a netbook tablet last year… I know this because my colleague here in Singapore bought one back in November

    as far as i know microsoft does licence xp tablet pc edition only to pen-enabled devices (that’s where you can rest your palm on the screen while writing with a digital pen on the screen which responds to pens but not to hands). i never tried handwriting on a touchscreen, i guess that’s not very useful.
