New YouTube-Friendly Camera from Victor JVC Available Now in Japan

With a size of 54×113x68mm and a weight of 305g, here’s JVC’s latest video camera, the Everio GZ-MG840, with 60GB of HDD. Available now in Japan for 70,000 Yen (580€), this new camera uses microSD or microSDHC cards in to record MPEG-2 video.

This YouTube-Friendly camera features a 1/6’’ CCD sensor with a 32x optical zoom, and a 2.7’’ LCD screen. It records up to 14 hours and 20 minutes of video in Ultra fineness quality (720×480).

Victor also released another model, the GZ-MG880, with a built-in 120GB hard disk for video recording up to 28 hours and 40 minutes. It goes for around 75,000 Yen.
