Believe it or not, there are still some companies that believe people have money to burn, like Buffalo and their latest 884€ (106,000 Yen) StatioMini NAS. The two 2.5” SATA HDDs are replaced with 2 SSDs (120GB) providing, depending on your Raid setting, up to 240GB of space.
You may argue that this is a lot of money for so little, and you’d be right, but silence is golden. While the average NAS has a noise level of 19.dB, our new MiniStation SSD, at 2.3db, is noiseless .
