Japan Will Also Get the Mimo UM-710
A couple months ago we introduced the LCD-4300U, a second USB-powered notebook screen. A few weeks later, many manufacturers launched their own USB-powered screens, like the Mimo UM-710. Today we learned that Japan will also get a 7-Inch LCD screen (800×480 resolution). Like a device from the previous century, it can be plugged into a notebook via USB. It provides a resolution of 840×480, a contrast ratio of 400:1, and a brightness of 350cd/m². The screen can be oriented in both vertical and horizontal positions, and is is available with a 1.3MPix web camera.
