Acer Branded Smartphones to be Released in Q1 2009?

According to Engadget, Acer will launch their own Smartphone in Q1 2009. Probably co-developed by ACER and the newly acquired E-Ten, there’s no precise information, but it seems it will be based on Windows OS (more than likely Windows Mobile).

According to Digitimes, these Acer branded Smartphones should hit Western Europe and Russia first.
