KDDI Announces a New Walkman Phone, the Xmini

Au KDDI unveiled a new Walkman phone, the Xmini. Designed to enjoy music, this new slide phone features a 1.8-Inch LCD screen with a QVGA resolution (240×320), 4GB of built-in memory, touch sensor, and is compatible with the Au BOX for enjoying music and video content downloaded via TV on Au mobile phones. No more information about specifications.

Otherwise, there are different functions for enjoy multimedia files like:

- LISMO Video Service: customers can view full movies and TV series with high quality video and sound on either their handset or PC, anywhere at anytime.
- EZ ‘Chaku Uta’ Full Plus Mobile Music Download, a service for downloading AAC audio files.

Available at the end of December.
