SpursEngine Cards Selling Well in Japan!

As you may know, Japan is one of the only countries to get not one, but two SpursEngine Cards, and Toshiba’s technology build-up is to boost your HD and video experience. Thanks to these cards you can easily (without using any CPU power) viewing HD videos and encode them.

Sold between 30,000 to 50,000 Yen (320€ to 420€), these cards (Leadteck and Canopus) are far from cheap, but surprisingly, when asked at several stores around in Akihabara, many store managers told us these card sell quite well, way better than most would expect.

Dedicated to a very limited number of people, these cards may be ideal for the heavy HD encoding user, if not, an average Nvidia with PureVideo HD is perfect for you!
